Most alternative mail providers, eg UK Mail / TNT / Fedex, contract out to Royal Mail as their "last mile" provider, meaning that mail sent through these services, who often have extortionate minimum quantity levels for businesses, will still suffer delays.

Companies that are not licensed face a heavy prosecution cost.
Deltec International Courier Ltd was found guilty on 11 counts of conveying letters without a licence. Barry Ellis, the company's managing director, was found guilty under section 120 of the Act on 11 counts of conniving in, consenting to, or being neglectful of, those offences. Deltec and Mr Ellis were fined a total of £17,000, plus £60,000 costs at Bow Street Magistrates Court in London.
Cycle 4 U is licensed and regulated by the Postal Services Comissions, a member of POSTRS, and also registered under the data protection act for full security of mail, parcel, and package deliveries.
